Bio

Alivia Gonzales is an associate attorney at Aviso Law, LLC. Her practice is concentrated in family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, modifications of child support and spousal maintenance, and civil protection orders. What sets Alivia apart is courtroom experience. Before joining the firm in December 2024, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado’s Fourth Judicial District, the same court system where many of Aviso Law’s family cases are heard. She managed a docket of approximately 250 cases and tried 30 jury trials, handling traffic, misdemeanor, and felony matters from motions practice through verdict. That daily time in court now informs how she prepares family-law hearings, presents evidence, and examines witnesses. Alivia earned her B.A. from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, with a degree in criminology and a minor in law. After beginning law school at Seattle University, she transferred to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received her J.D. and a certificate in Constitutional Rights and Remedies. She is licensed in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado bar.
