Brandon recently presented a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program on Dependency and Neglect practice for the Pikes Peak Paralegal Association. The program generated the highest number of RSVPs for any CLE hosted by the organization in 2026 and was reported by association leadership to be among the best-attended programs of the year.

Brandon represented a client who had previously entered into a parenting agreement that granted joint decision-making authority in circumstances where it was not appropriate. Through careful advocacy, Brandon persuaded the court to set aside the existing arrangement and award the client sole decision-making responsibility based on domestic violence and power-and-control concerns. He also successfully obtained a significant reduction in the client's child support obligation.

When Brandon took over a parenting time modification case, the father had no parenting time with one child and only limited parenting time with his other two children. After a full day of testimony, the strength of the evidence presented led the opposing party to pursue settlement rather than continue with a second day of trial. The final agreement provided the father with equal parenting time with all three children, dramatically strengthening his relationship with his children and creating a more balanced parenting arrangement.

Brandon represented a father in a highly contested allocation of parental responsibilities case. The children's mother sought to keep the children out of Colorado, while our client fought to establish their primary residence here. After extensive litigation, the court awarded our client primary parental responsibility in Colorado. In addition, Brandon successfully advocated for a favorable financial outcome, including child support for the client, a limited maintenance obligation, and protection of the client's military retirement benefits from division."Few cases are more important than those involving a parent's relationship with their children.
